Anzac Day
After Mass we went to Mother Mary with the whole school.
First Mr Coakley was talking about the soldiers that died during the war. After, he said that the crosses are to remind us of all the men who died at war.
Room 1 didn't have a turn. Room 3 had their turn after us. Room 3 said their part. They said their part then they put a NZ flag on the crosses. Room 5 had the lemon squeezer. Room 6 had said their piece and put down some flowers. They had a long turn. Then Room 7 had thier turn. It was fun.
Last of all the bugle sound came on then we sang the National Anthem. We salute all these people for dying for our country.

Mothers Day
My mother is so special because she helps me with my homework and she is as pretty as an angel.
My mother makes food for us when it is almost night time. She is like a princess. She loves me so much. She washes my sisters clothes, my brothers clothes and mine too.
She is the best mum in the world becuase she buys me new stuff that I like. I love my mum so much. She irons my clothes and my siblings clothes too.
She tells me to shower and makes me lunch. She also helps me dress for school and church.

The Leaf
The leaf was dirty. The yellow leaf was fatter than the brown one. The brown one is skinny. Both leaves were cold. The brown leaf had seeds in it. The yellow leaf has tiny holes in it and it had spiky things on the sides. The stick inside the leaves was hard and it has veins coming from it. The brown leaf was broken and it was wet.

In The Holidays
In the holidays on Sunday we went to church with my mum, Nana, my two brothers and my sister. FIrst we dressed up. My dad stayed at home so he could go to work. We went in the van and my mum drove to church.
We had to sit down on the chairs. Next we made a circle and we sang a song. Then we went back in a line. There were heaps of people because a baby was getting baptized.
Then we say more songs and there were two people at the side and one person infront of us. He was the one who talked the most.
Last of all they carried the baby in white clothes.

Thank You
Dear Flaminio,
Today I want to tell you how good you were at teaching me gymnastics. It was good.
I want to thank you for teaching me new skills. I really enjoyed backwards rolls.
It was fun because I had fun and I like to have fun.
My favourite skill was the backwards roll.
Love from Christopher.

Making Butter
Yesterday morning we made butter out of cream. First of all we tipped the cream into the jar. We shook the jar for 15 minutes.
When we had finished there was a lump of butter and the whey. We put this on the sieve.
Then Ms Pole made the butter in the bowl. We spread it on the bread.
We ate it. It was yum and I liked it.

Being Great For God Mass
On Friday we went to the church. We looked at the people, mums and dads. There were heaps of parents. Father came up when Sonya was speaking. After we had the bread and wine we sang in the church.
My favourite part was when the bread and wine children walked up the aisle slowly because it made me peaceful.
