Big Cow Grazing on Grass
I have tried to show texture by painting some parts rough and some parts smooth. What I liked best was painting my cow. My cow is mixed with brown and golden paint. The most interesting part of my painting is that it is so so good. My cow is a good big cow. What I found tricky was dabbing and my cow's is named Big Cow. Next time I paint I would like to look at the flowers.

Musical Evening
Musical Evening
On Thursday night Dorothy said "Room 4 will sing The Beat Box Boogie." "
Thank you Room 4" said Angelica. I wore a skirt and a white t-shirt with black spots. When i was dancing my mum put 20 dollars on me. I was nervous because they were too many people. I was in the horn stabs. My mum was cheering for me. I saw my whole family and my Aunty. My dad was holding my baby brother. I like the Noisy Boy because I liked the way it was playing loud. I like Saveu's singing because she has got a beautiful voice. Most of all I liked the Noisy Boys. My favourite part was when i was dancing and singing to share our talents with our family and cousins. I moved my arms up and down, side to side. Everyone was clapping for Room 4. My Aunty was proud of me and my sister. June was nervous when she was singing in the microphone. I liked Room 6's band. We went back home. My mum gave me something. I liked the sausage sizzle.

A man crying and disappointed
A man crying and disappointed
I see a boy sad and looking disappointed. I smell green grass and some mud. I hear clapping for other people. I think he he is praying. I feel like crying because it looks like he is crying. A big strong man has got muscles. I see stretchy blue shorts. I see people sitting on the stand. I see flags of countries on the top of the stadium. The boy has got a white t-shirt. He has got blue and yellow shoes. I like his hair because it is shaved. I like people who shave their hair. The athlete looks like he is praying or disappointed. The athlete looks like he is lost. On the t-shirt I see a big number. I can see the background and foreground.

An Exciting Event at Mt Smart - Malia
An Exciting Event at Mt Smart Stadium
On a foggy morning Room 4 and 5 went to Mt Smart Stadium.
When I got there i felt nervous. I liked the football. Hendrix got one goal.
Courtney got two goals! Then we went to the relays. I was so tired when I did
the relays. It was fun. The announcer told us what to do. I liked the long jump
because I can jump as high as I can go. My favourite part was the running
because I like running. I don’t like the football because it was hard. We only
won one time. I saw some flags. Then we arrived back to school sleepily in the
bus. I was really hungry when I went back to school. I was happy because I came
first in the running.

Digging Up Potatoes
Monday after play Room 4 went to the back of Room 3. We dug up potatoes to eat. Huni, Miss Mat, Mrs Pole, Room 4 students. They were delicious. We put our hats on and went to the garden. Huni took down the netting. Huni pulled the top off the plants. Mrs Pole climbed into the garden and dug into the soil. We took turns at finding some potatoes in the soil. We washed the potatoes and cooked the potatoes on the element. My favourite part was eating the potatoes with butter and salt.
