Good Cross Country

On a hot Friday afternoon i was walking with my line to the red gate and waited for someone to say go. Miss G said "Get ready, get set, go!" When I ran past June she said, "I'm exhausted." When I ran past my mum I heard, "Come on, come on, my man!" to June. Then I stopped and went to my mum to get her pump because I couldn't breathe and I cried. I stayed with my mum for a little rest from running a long way. When I stayed with my mum, Jane said, "Josie I can't" and I cried. I went back to my line and watched the seniors have their cross country. Their cross country was around the streets and in the courts. My highlight is how I am happy that the cross country is over.

A Disappointed Man

I can see an athlete feeling sad. A man wearing blue, stretchy shorts and soft, black, short hair. I can smell the sweat from the man. I can hear the crowd cheering for someone. I can feel tiny tears coming out of his eyes. I am thinking he is disappointed.

My Soulfriend

My Soulfriend's name is Aurora. Aurora is 9 years old. Her favourite subject is Art because she likes doing it. Aurora's favourite colour is purple because it is the colour of Lent. Her favourite thing about school is going to church because  you get blessed by Father.

The Big Surprise

The Junior School sat quietly in the Music Room waiting for a big surprise. Our eyes were closed and our heads were down. We heard a big, loud KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! We said come in and he was still KNOCKING on the door and we said again come in and he came in. We opened our eyes and the big surprise was a clown. His name wasRonald Mc Donald. It was fun and I felt happy because Miss Oldfield made me laugh because her face was looking funny.
