My favourite subject this year was writing you can write a narrative story.
I have improved my activities because I wrote neatly on my Christmas activity.
I really enjoyed music.
I am proud of my reading.
My friend is Macky. I became friends with him because he helped me on my maths.
Next year I would like to manage myself better.

Our First Day of Milk

Today 8th November, Room 4 got their milk from our monitors and we drank it. It tasted like cold milk. While we were drinking it we were told how to fold the carton. The monitors got the milk from a fridge in the music room. The monitors names are Aaliyah and Vanessa.
At the end they collected the milk and folded it. We saw a movie about the milk.

My Sewing

Here I am trying to tread my needle.

Threading the needle was tricky because I had to suck the end of the thread and try and put it in the needle hole. I had to sew around the flower.
I like sewing because it is easy to go up and down. I liked sewing the border.
When my artwork is finished I will give it to my dad and he will be proud of me.
I liked doing the flower  because you have to follow the yellow crayon that I had previously drawn.

Our First Badminton Lesson

Last Tuesday afternoon Room 4 went into the school hall. Then we took off our shoes. Next Robbie said "Lets play some warm up games." The game was called Stuck in the Mud. After this Robbie told us how to hold a racquet and Robbie chose on girl and one boy and asked them their names. Their names were Olidah and Maea. I got tagged by Maea and Samuel double tagged me. Robbie gave us a racquet and shuttlecock. Robbie said hit it softly. Then Robbie said "Lets play the hamburger game." Robbie said "Does anybody have any questions?"

I enjoyed making the background with green and blue dye.
What I found tricky was doing the fish because of cutting the crinkly paper out.
I like the way I did the crepe paper.
I used texture by gluing the bubble wrap on the fish.

Swimming at Saint Pius X School

We have a swimming pool on the courts. When it is our turn we change in Room 4. When we get to the pool we have to put our towel inside a marque and when we get inside the pool we had to listen to the instructors. The instructors names were Kevin and Gillian. They told us to put our hands on our heads and make a streamline on the flutter board and a freestyle. I can float on my back. I can do a forward flip. I felt warm and Kevin and Gillian taught us some new skills. Kevin taught us. We had some free time and we had a game. It was called breathing competition. I won and on the second time Keira won. Mrs Pole came and picked us up.

My Holiday

My Holiday

In the holidays I went to the beach with my mum and dad. I saw Macky at the beach. Then I went on the flying fox but Macky was too scared to go on the flying fox. I felt very happy. Then I went for a swim. After that I went back on the flying fox then I felt very scared. Last of all Macky's mum said to come here. Then Macky went back home and I went home too.

My Soul Friend

My Soul Friend's name is Joshua. He is 9 years old. His favourite subject is writing because we make up stories. His favourite colour is red because it is a colour of an apple. What my soul friend likes best about school is playing with his friends because they are funny.

The Water Slide

Last Wednesday  morning our class went out for our last triathlon. First of all we had get our wet clothes. Next we went to the field. Then we slid on our tummy's until we got to the end of the water slide. Last of all we had to go around the cones and my favourite part was going on the water slide and sliding.
