Waitangi Day
On Waitangi Day I went to Mission Bay with Macky and his brothers. I went to Stanley's mother's restaurant. Me and Stanley ate fish and chips and we had milkshakes. After that Stanley and I went and swam in the fountain. We were floating on the water. Stanley and I had a race swimming around the fountain and Stanley won because I couldn't swim. The fountain water was cold and shallow. I like the water because it is fun.
Well done for posting your writing on the class blog. I especially like the way you have used good describing words like 'cold and shallow' water and action words like 'floating' on the water.
