New Friends

On Tuesday Saint Joseph came to Saint Pius X because it was Catholic Schools Day. I asked my new friend "Do you want to play on the field?" He said "yes." So we played and played. In the Church it was grey. I felt nervous. Father Terry was helping Father Ioane because he wants to share. I saw a boy. I said "Pick me." I said ,"What is your name?" He said "Locky." He picked me because I shouted, " pick me." I was smiling at him. He was happy too.

Friends come together

Yesterday Saint Joseph's children came to our school. First of all we had to line up in our lines. Then everyone went into the Church. I was ready to make a friend. There was two priests, Father Terry and Father Ioane. My favourite part was when we sang the song. "It was beautiful" I whispered. I saw Father Terry. He sang the song with all of the children. That was the first time I heard a different priest sing at our school. I heard someone say "That was brilliant!" Then Mr Coakley said "Everyone has 5 minutes to play with their buddies." I remembered I made a friend. Her name was Kate. She didn't have any lunch. So I had to share my lunch with her. Then we played tiggy. It was fun because she was with me but when she left it was sad. She gave me a special gift to remember her when she's gone.

Football Fun

Yesterday afternoon Mrs Denny told us we were going to play football. First of all we changed into our sports clothes. Next we went to the courts where Courtney our instructor was waiting. Then we lined up on the yellow line. We played some games. One of the names of the games was traffic lights. The second ball games was football. Courtney put us in teams. Courtney put me, Olidah and Claudia into a yellow team. We were going to play against the blue team. It was so cool. It was an adventure for me. I would play football again because it was cool.

A Special Adventure

Yesterday Room 4 got changed into our sports clothes. Then we went to the courts. We lined up. The instructor said we are going to play a game like tag. After we played football. I was in the yellow team. We had to try and get the ball in the goal. Sia kept kicking the ball on the right. After we played football. We also played traffic lights. The instructor said that if we don't play properly then we have to go back to class. I had to go with Mrs Pole to read some books. Next I missed out on the games. The blue team won the game. I was excited and it was fun. I went with Mrs Pole. It was at the peace room. Maea had to read to Mrs Pole. Samasoni had to read to himself. After Maea I had to read to Mrs Pole. It took a long time and I had to read the books. After I read the books I went back to class.

Football Fun

Yesterday Room 4 went to the courts. The instructor told us what to do. She said we are going to play a game of tag. Before we went to the courts we had to get changed into our sports clothes. The game was hard because we had to chase them. Courtney didn't put me with Olidah. The other team was making a chain. The next game was called blue lights, yellow lights and red lights. We played another game. It was the coolest game ever. My favourite part of football was kicking the ball.

My Holiday

In the holiday we went down to Hamilton. It was getting dark and my grandma put me to sleep. The next morning I went to the bus stop and waited for one bus to come. We went on the bus and we said we were going to the city. Then when we got there we were tired and we went to Valentines to eat. There was pork roast and fish. There was everything. There was also dessert. I had ice-cream. It was yummy. Then we ate a lot of food. Joanna and I, my nana and grandpa went to Farmers to buy clothes. Then we went home.

Adventure On The Motor Cycle

In the holidays me and Dad, Nigel, went on the motor cycle. I felt like I was flying in the air. It was cold because I didn't have my jumper with me.  We   went   past every house. The houses  were  big and  beautiful . The  first time  I  went on  the  motor cycle  I  was  going  on  my  bike.  My  dad   said  to  me, " Keira, do  you   want  to  go  on  the  motor cycle  with  me?"  I  said, "Yes!'  I put  the  helmet    on  and  off  we  went. It  was  fun.  I  saw  the  lines  on  the  road.   The   colours  were yellow and bright.  we  went   down   the  hill   and    it  was  really,  really  scary    and  that   was  my   favourite  part.   I  like  being  scary .
